Below are some useful tips and tricks to help using the T-ReX mk2 Balloon Stuffing tool easier.
CLAMPING / SECURING T-ReX MK2 to a table or bench: If you do not secure the T-ReX MK2 to a bench or table or something stable, it will be very difficult to stuff the balloons as every time you push a balloon through the back of the tube, it will move. Make sure it is securely clamped or fixed in place. We have created a video on securing the T-ReX MK2 to a bench to assist you.
USE SEMPERTEX / BETALLATEX 3ft latex balloons - Qualatex 3ft latex balloons are very stiff, thick and very difficult to stretch over the end of the T-ReX MK2 Balloon Stuffing tool, many ladies and slender gentleman have great difficulty doing this. We have found that the Semptertex / Betallatex Brand of 3ft balloons are much softer, more elastic and hence easier to work with.
In fact some people swear by them.

REPLACEMENT O RINGS / RUBBER STRAPS: These are the one component of the T-ReX MK2 that will wear over time, they will dry out and eventually break. We have supplied you a total of 6 rubber o rings in your purchase, keep the spares in the sealed plastic bag to keep them moist. These O Rings are available at most plumbing supplies and some hardware stores. We do not supply spare parts for the T-ReX MK2 as shipping them is often more expensive than the parts themselves. The O Ring Size is 100mm x 4mm thick.
USE 18 inch ( 45CM ) LATEX BALLOONS - The smallest balloon you can use on the T-ReX MK2 Balloon Stuffing tool is 18 inch or 45cm. You cannot use 16 inch balloons the neck is not wide enough to stretch over the end, it will break.
Use the back of the T-ReX As a guide to the 5 inch balloon size - As a guide, you can use the back of the T-Rex mk2 balloon stuffing tool as a guide when inflating your 5 inch balloons. We suggest you make them slightly bigger than the opening, this will be perfect for them to easily slide through the tube but also stop the air from coming out the back whilst you are stuffing, your 5 inch balloons can then be pushed into the tube and hold there. Do not make them smaller than the opening at the back, make them about 10% bigger.
If the black ribbed tube comes off the air inflator nozzle - We have designed the ribbed black air inlet hose to fit onto the top of most air inflators that are out there in the market, but sometimes this air hose can come off. If it comes off often, cut some off, about 2 inches off the end and then push it back on, the end of the tube can get very hot and soft and pliable and over time it will stretch where it does not fit securely. Sometimes we tape this hose onto the nozzle with gaffa / cloth tape to secure it in place, it looks a little unsightly but works if you have some stuffing to do. Placing the air inflator on the ground below the T-ReX will work a lot better than having the air inflator on the bench as the air always wants to blow up, that will help stopping the ribbed black hose from coming off also. YOU MUST USE AN AIR INFLATOR at least 480 watts that blows continuous air - The 4 NOZZLE AIR FORCE 4 is too powerful.
WHAT AIR INFLATOR TO USE - As a rule of thumb we do not recommend a brand of air inflator and we do not supply air inflators as most balloon decorators already have them and that keeps the overall price of the T-ReX Lower by not including one. Any single nozzle or dual nozzle air inflator will be suitable, as long as it is a minimum of 480 watts and no more than 680 watts. Do not run your air inflator for more than 20 to 30 minutes at a time as you may burn out the motor.
